Your Pain & Your Health
Are Not Separate Problems.
You’ve been told to stretch more, rest, or just manage it. Your GP treats one thing, your orthopedist another, your PT a third. Nobody has sat down and connected the dots. That’s exactly what we do.
You’ve Felt This.
Nobody Has Explained It.
Most people who walk through our door have already done everything right. They’ve seen the specialists. Done the PT. Taken the medication. And yet — something keeps not resolving. Here’s why that happens, and why it’s not your fault.
At your intake, we look at your whole picture — not just the injury site. Blood pressure, thyroid markers, sleep quality, menstrual patterns, cold hands and feet, gut symptoms, energy levels. These aren’t separate conversations. They are the conversation about why your tissue isn’t recovering.
To Heal, Your Body Needs
More Than a Good Protocol.
Evidence-based rehabilitation works — when the internal environment can execute it. What nobody talks about is that your body’s ability to recover from injury, exercise, or surgery depends entirely on the health of its fluid systems. We call it fluid dynamics — the interconnected network of circulation, filtration, immune regulation, and hormonal signaling that determines whether your tissues can actually rebuild.
This is where Traditional Chinese Medicine principles blend with modern sports medicine. TCM has mapped these internal organ relationships to specific tissues for thousands of years. We use those principles — validated through osteopathic manual therapy and functional medicine — to assess and treat what blood tests alone can’t capture.
Cardiovascular & Lymphatic
Delivers oxygen and nutrients to healing tissue. Clears metabolic waste. Poor circulation = slow repair, lingering inflammation, cold extremities.
Liver & Detoxification
Processes inflammation byproducts. Regulates estrogen. When overburdened, fascial tissue stiffens and joint inflammation persists longer than it should.
Kidney & Adrenal
Regulates fluid balance, cortisol, and the stress response. Chronic stress load keeps tissue in a guarded, contracted state — resistant to manual therapy and movement.
Spleen & Immune
Controls inflammation duration. An overactive immune response turns normal post-exercise soreness into weeks of stiffness and tissue sensitivity.
Thyroid & Metabolism
Governs tissue regeneration rate, tendon collagen synthesis, and fascial hydration. Even subclinical hypothyroidism degrades recovery capacity significantly.
Gut & Nutrient Absorption
Supplies the raw materials tissue repair requires. A compromised gut means even a perfect diet can’t deliver what healing demands.
Why Males and Females Heal Differently
Standard evidence-based research has historically been conducted on male populations — meaning protocols designed for “everyone” are often designed for one hormonal profile. Fascial pathways, neuroendocrine responses, and fluid dynamics differ meaningfully between sexes. We treat within the evidence-based framework while accounting for what that framework often ignores.
♀ Estrogen & Tissue Pliability
Estrogen maintains fascial glide, tissue hydration, and connective tissue flexibility. When estrogen drops — through cycle phases, perimenopause, or chronic stress — tissues stiffen faster, fascial restrictions form more readily, and manual therapy effects don’t hold as long without addressing the hormonal root.
♂ Testosterone & The Spring Coil
Testosterone provides the elastic recoil mechanism in tendons and muscles — the spring that absorbs load and transfers force. When testosterone is insufficient (in both males and females), the spring goes flat. Tissues absorb impact instead of rebounding. Micro-tears accumulate faster than the body can repair them.
Two Doors.
One Integrated System.
Most people identify with one more than the other. Start where you are. The two paths feed each other — and Dr. Ngo will show you exactly how.
Move Better
Sports Medicine · Orthopedic · Performance
For people whose primary frustration is pain, limitation, or performance decline. Whether you’re recovering from injury, post-surgery, or simply not moving the way you used to — this is where we find what’s structurally keeping you stuck and build a path back to full function and beyond.
Feel Better
Holistic PT · Functional Medicine · Airway & Sleep
For people whose primary frustration is energy, gut health, hormonal balance, sleep, or a chronic sense that their body isn’t functioning the way it should — despite normal lab results. We use 80% manual therapy to bring the body’s internal systems back to a state of homeostasis.
Care That Carries Through
Every System.
From runners to cancer patients, drummers to new moms — the thread through every story is the same: someone finally connected the dots.
“Dr. Ngo was able to identify the cause of my pain, help me heal, and correct my running form. He addresses issues from a holistic perspective and genuinely understands the unique biological challenges women can face while running. Thanks to him, I ran the LB Half without any pain!”
“My mom had arm pain for over 6 months. Dr. Ngo said he’d get her back to tip top shape in 4 sessions — and he was right. He still messages to check in. I recently told him her cancer was back and he sends videos to help with her breathing. That level of care is unheard of and unparalleled.”
“In just four months, I went from barely being able to squat due to pain to squatting over 315 pounds. He even collaborated with my weightlifting trainer to develop a program that perfectly complemented his treatment plan.”
“His thorough assessment went beyond surface-level symptoms — he explained how different body systems and hormones were contributing to my condition. Dr. Ngo was transparent from the beginning and said I would only need one session. And he was right! I have felt so much better after one session!”
“Dr. Ngo helped me recover from a dislocated shoulder, stubborn knee injuries, and improved my sciatica — after 20 years, I no longer use orthotics. He can help athletes perform, help people live with less pain, and he even helped me reduce my nighttime teeth grinding.”
